JUBILEE LAMP REINSTATEMENT

The first stage of reinstating the jubilee lamp is complete.
Many thanks to everyone involved this morning in placing and securing the main stem of the lamp, preparing the electrical connection and replacing the granite plinth.
The
second (hopefully last) stage is the replacement of the globe, shade and reconnection.
These are scheduled for Friday 20th Oct - weather permitting.
In the meantime, the cones will remain in place to dissuade anyone from standing on the base as the cement needs time to set hard before Friday.
